Christina Alexandra Baican is a photographer and visual storyteller based in the New York City area. She shoots a diverse range of projects from campaigns to events, all with a vibrant and artistic aesthetic.

From a very early age, Christina has always had a love for photography. She would take photos of the many clothes that she would make as a child with her Kodak disposable camera and as she got older, she continued to capture the candid moments that she had with friends and family.

As a Journalism minor in university, her passion for visual storytelling only grew when she took her first Photojournalism class where she learned the importance of creating connection through visual form and telling the stories of the many people that she encountered. Going to university in New York City gave her the opportunity to capture the moments of daily life in the city streets in its most raw and authentic form on an everyday basis and that only grew her love for photography even more.

From the city streets to a worldwide level, she has continued to capture her travels by photographing the many people, cultures, and places she has experienced. What she loves about photography and videography is their ability to make people feel connected and alive. We all have our own stories that make us unique in our own ways. While we are all different, in many ways we’re also the same. That human element to visual storytelling is what drives Christina’s passion to continue to share our own stories - our victories, our struggles, and everything in between.

Transitioning from university to a full-time career in corporate life, she has also continued to capture those candid moments whether that be working backstage at a show for New York Fashion Week or a networking event for The Women’s Network at Condé Nast.

She loves capturing raw moments and sharing stories in a visually artistic way. She hopes to continue her passion for visual storytelling as she continues to explore the world and meet new people along the way.
